Re-Onion 2010

Thanks to Corky for sending me these pics from the reunion. Sorry I missed it this year.

When ice skating gets too tiring, you can always fall back on the good ol' Canadian pasttime of pressing your face against the glass.

I don't have a snappy cation for this one. Oh well, can't win 'em all.

Now I really feel bad that I missed it. Looks like everybody was there. Hope you had a blast! I hope I'll be able to come visit CNB this summer for a day or two.

Speaking of reunions

Not that this cartoon means anything to 90% of our campers, but hey, it says the word reunion.
While we're on the topic of reunions, always remember to brush your teeth in little circles- not side to side.
And while on the topic of brushing teeth, I'm flying in on Thursday to Long Island for the NAGEELA REUNION and I would like to spend the weekend with EVERY Nageela present and past camper, counselor and plunger.

Awesome Sukkah Party

Looks like the Nageela- Jersey Sukkah party was a huge success. I'm really jealous! Here are a few pictures taken by Corky (I think). There are also a bunch of pics of it up on Facebook (Shaya, you can add them to the Nageela alum group).

This past Sunday's JEPLI BBQ was a smashing success. We all enjoyed musical accompaniment by JEFnAZI, as well as Yehuda hogging the Mic and me standing in a shopping cart.

Spring Convention '08

What's East of East Hempstead?
According to Columbus, that would be West Hempstead, you just have sail around the world. Or, you could take the easy way out and use the LIRR. Either way, West Hempstead is the site of this year's Spring Convention Shabbaton.
My first JEP Shabbaton ever was Spring Convention 1997. I don't remember it like it was yesterday, but I do remember it like it was about 11 years ago. Funny thing about time, it moves at roughly the same speed as our calendar.

And so, I look forward to a fun Shabbaton in West Hempstead this weekend. We've planned some pretty awesome games, including some that we haven't done in years. Should be great!
