Each year, as I serve the head of a fish as part of the traditional ROsh Hashana meal, there is always someone too grossed out by the thought of actually looking at a real fish (albeit a dead one).

the BIG Shabbaton

SO you all know that this week was the BIG Shabbaton in Long Island. In fact, I think it was the BIGgest Shabbaton in JEPLI's history.

I want to hear from participants. How was it? Who was there? Who wasn't (besides me)?

What was the best part?

There's this great kosher coffee shop chain here in Vegas called the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

I often come here to learn or meet with people.

New logo idea

This obviously would only work for NageelaWest. Here's what happened. I was listening to the radio in my car, and as a West coast community, they had the Lakers playoff game on. They are playing the Jazz... lightbulb!

Whadya think? Should I use it over gatorade or the PS3 logo?

Here's the big question- it's a great logo and all, but I still have to get the words 'camp nageela west' somewhere on the shirt. Any ideas on how to make it work?
