Cholent Tributes

Camp Nageela owes much of its culture to that wonderful staple of Jewish gastronomic phenomena called cholent.
We are in the process of developing a new site dedicated to the wonders of cholent, both in the serious, and in the humorous worlds. So:
1. I challenge you to write poetry declaring your love for cholent or describing its many attributes and accomplishments
2. If you have a good cholent recipe, or cholent cooking/ serving tip, send that in too.

The best ones will be published.

Here are two ideas (Okay, really just 1 idea, split into 2 possibilities) for a NageelaWest T- shirt design.

It is (obviously) based on the playstation 3 design. I think the top one is more authentic (looks like the 'S' in PS3), but is a bit harder to read.

What do you guys think?

Okay... any other ideas? I'm working on a few, but I'm open to new ideas.

When Courtesy Turns Dangerous

We always new that New Yorkers were rude, especially in the car. According to AAA, New York City has the rudest drivers! Go NY! I never believed that they'd actually come up with a logic to justify it being good.
Here's an article from AAA NY magazine explaining why it's UNSAFE to be nice.

My travels do occasionally lead me to some really interesting places.
ALong my recent journeys, upon a valiant quest to hunt down a resting place for NageelaWest, I passed through Zion National Park, one of the most beautiful sights in our USA. Especially in the snow.
Just outside of the park, literally in middle of nowhere, I found this very telling streetsign.

a kids' park?

For this, I needed to bring my kids to disneyland?

That's right. During winter break, my family went to disneyland (which is not nearly as cool as Nageela, anyway) and here's one of the terrible lessons they teach kids. I try to teach my kids NOT to waste.

I'm sorry, but I've had to add one of those annoying verification words if you want to post. The reason for this, quite clearly is to get you to comment more often, due to the novelty of getting to try and decipher some squigly lines which may, at some point, before having been chewed by a pack of rabid chihuahuas, have looked like letters. It's also fun having to retype it 3 or 4 times because there's no way you can possibly get it right.

Camp Dates

Hey people. I havent heard from any of you in a while. Here's the scoop. Nageela west for boys will end a couple of day before Nageela East starts, so you can go to both. I don't want ppl to leave East to come to West, but I'd love ppl to come to both. I wouild like to get an idea on the blog if you or anyone you know is interested in that.
