this is what the logo is looking like at this point in time. Nobody has done a very good job convincing me otherwise, so I'm leaning towards Amp.Lots of you guys have come up with great logo ideas, though, so thanks for those, and if I get a chance I'll try to make them all into logos that I'll post.

I really like the advertisement spoof of amp with the cans and everything, which looks really cool, but I'm not loving the logo of it here, it's a little too flat and toned down compared to the ad with all the shadowy dynamics and drops of water on everything ;)
And strangely enough, while I was typing this previous comment, as I typed the word advertisement, I said it in my head like adver-tiss-ment, like brits do, even though I'm not british.; I didn't even mean to do it...perplexing
I hate it. It's that simple. I'm gonna be wearing this shirt and people are gonna be saying "yo, what is that?" then I'll say, oh it's a spoof on an energy drink called amp. Yeah, look it up on the internet... we have the same logo... Isn't it cool? "No not exactly, but if you would've done narnia or nintendo... now that would've been cool." Then I'll say I know that's what I thought too but unfortunately SOMEONE thought this was cool and there was nothing anyone could do about it. THE GUY even made a poll but it wasn't even on there could you beleive that? "no i can't believe that" Then I'll say I know me neither. Then he'll say dude I had enough of this topic. Let's find something cool to talk about. Then I'll say I know man enough of this stupid talk. Then he'll say.....
ok fine, i won't bore you with the rest. If you're reading this and running out of energy, I could recommend a good drink called amp... oh, you never heard of it? Me neither.
I think this is a great idea, and then the yearbook can be called: The Chronicles of Mountain Dew: Amp!

Yeh I saw it on some web site last year. Don't remember exact details though. I think it had something to do with clothing but now I'm told it's a drink... I don't know.
I agree this logo sucks...i hope it's not on sign of what the summer is going to be like!
I saw amp today for the first time in my life in a Montreal supermarket. Unfortunately,I was told that its not kosher in Canada. So I went back home and read the chronicles of NARNIA....
